When we were introduced to the French Hotel chain Accor it was with the reputation of understanding the IPL & also strong capabilities in Brand Strategy.
AccorHotels has now hosted the Delhi Daredevils as hospitality partners for two years in a row.
Rasta has been responsible for the ideation and execution of 360-degree campaigns for this partnership on both occasions.
Year #1 Campaign: “Anything For Our Guests” players played cricket in the lobby of a 5-star hotel, created viral content around World Cup winning Carlos Brathwaite, & made the Dilliboys run for a social cause. We also facilitated them learning how to surf on a Vizag beach during their away travels.
Year #2 Campaign: “Dilli Boys Feel Welcome” was an extension of Accor Hotels tagline “Feel Welcome”. We created a stadium like “Dug-out“ inside the lobby of Pullman, Delhi. This installation became a photo opportunity for both players and fans. We did parody content “Kuppa with Karun” where Karun Nair plays chat show host to his Delhi Daredevils teammates. #RunsForHope was further built on from year #1
Special campaigns were also run for the AccorHotels Loyalty members to meet the team.
